Holland Creek Trail
This past Sunday I took a short drive to Ladysmith, located south of Nanaimo. The Holland Creek Trail is just under 6km and there are number of other trails in the area to check out. I only hiked the upper part of the trail near the waterfalls and I would like to go back and make my way up to Heart Lake. I ran into a family that had just come back from the lake and they said it's a 2 hour grind but totally worth it. Now I just need to find someone to go with. I guess there have been bears in the area, and it's suggested not to hike up there alone. Send me a message if your interested in making the trek up to the lake sometime this summer.
