Experimenting With Light

Last night I was hanging out with some friends and I happen to bring my camera and tripod with me. That morning I also happen to watch a YouTube tutorial showing how to create light trails in your photos. I figured this was a good opportunity to try these newly learned techniques out. Since this was my first time taking these kind of photos I wasn't totally sure what to expect. The results turned out pretty decent and was a fantastic learning experience. It was also a ton of fun, not only for me, but everyone involved. At first we just waved the torches around on our phones, then we tried to make heart shapes, crescent moons, and even attempted to write our names. Which is a bit harder to do when you have to write it backwards. I can't wait to get out and do more light trail photography. Practice makes perfect right.
